At Tai Huri we are interested in telling stories that deepen our understanding of Aotearoa New Zealand history and celebrate Te Ao Māori through culturally driven narratives. We tell stories through an indigenous lens, and embody kaupapa Māori narratives that explore who we are, where we come from and our rich cultural histories. 

Tai Huri Films is a Māori owned film and media production company. Established in 2018 by screen producer Jason Taylor. Tai Huri films is based in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) Aotearoa New Zealand.
