Tāhuhu Stories of Ancestry

The following two short documentary films are a result of a kaupapa that finds and fosters new Māori voices for screen. These films were produced as part of a wider kaupapa entitled Tāhuhu Stories of Ancestry which was facilitated by Tai Huri Films in 2021. The films are currently in post-production and will be submitted to festivals as well as made available as curriculum learning resources supporting teaching and learning of Aotearoa NZ histories in schools.
